to the Board of

2001-Present Parish Council Vice
President
One of the main reasons I have decided
to seek the 88'th Assembly Representative
office is to finally address the pressing
problems facing
When elected, I will strive to find
common ground and answers to the following
issues which demand our action
today:
·
Ethics
Reform-Recently the current representative
along with 49 other current members voted to
not consider SB-1 which would have created a
Government Accountability Board to replace the
State Elections and Ethics Boards. Three local
legislators including the present 88'th
representative benefited from illegal taxpayer
paid state employees working on their 2000
campaigns. I will work to remove these
ineffective boards and replace them with a
board with real clout.
·
Heath
care for the Elderly, Uninsured and Under
insured-I want to make sure that those with
the least in our state are cared for. We
already support their health care through our
hospital emergency rooms. We need to make sure
that a more cost effective way of caring for
those who have the least among us, is by
ensuring they have good preventive
care.
·
Make
Corporations Responsible for the Health Care of
Their Employees-Too
many large corporations dump their employees
into Badger Care which allows them to unfairly
compete with the smaller companies in
·
Legislators Responsible for State
Taxes-One important point not discussed in
TABOR, TPA, or whatever the latest name being
used to sell this to our state, is that the
duty to tax and spend wisely the wealth of our
state is entrusted to the legislature and our
governor. If we relinquish this right to the
referendum, why do we need all of these
legislators? I would never support this
legislative miscarriage.
·
Realistic Energy Plans-Our state
needs to ensure a reliable supply of energy to
support our citizens and our industries. The
best way to do this is to be an integral part
of the planning of future plants and
encouraging renewable resources. We should also
be aware of the limited nature of current
renewable resources and strive to expand them
in the future while not hobbling our current
supplies.

Open
Budgeting Process-Wisconsin has
been the victim of late night,
